First of all, I would like to thank Transworld Books for sending me this ARC. I received it in time for my birthday! :)
I must say, reading a novel about Becky again feels like I've reunited with a long lost friend. I usually read chick-lit books and The Shopaholic is a favorite. In this book, Becky is back together with her spunk and this time, with determination of ruling Hollywood! Me myself know how good Becky is with regard to dressing people up and with that attitude of hers, of course she'd be successful. However of course, we know Becky, and sometimes she does things that are a little bit crossing the lines. You know a Shopaholic novel wouldn't be complete without craziness happening!
I was introduced to how a life of a superstar is. Both the sparkly and monstrous part. Together with Luke, Minnie, Danny, Elinor, The Bloomwods, The Cleath-Stuarts, Alicia Bitch-Long-Legs and new acquaintances, Becky holds the choice of staying in the limelight or in its shadow.
The book met my expectations and I really enjoyed reading Shopaholic to the Stars, a couple of times I tried putting it down because I don't want it to end! And, for fans like me,don't worry, I think this won't be the last time we see our heroine. ;)
Rating: 5 of 5 Stars.
